Grumman Ag Cat
About the AgCat
The Grumman AgCat first flew in the 1950's and was built and operated specifically for agricultural work, spraying crops etc. The pilot sat in a single place cockpit located in the centre of the plane with the hopper used to carry the chemicals located in front of the pilot. Many AgCats have been converted to carry passengers with the hopper being removed and replaced with two side by side seats.
Our AgCat has been configured for both joy flights as well as banner towing. For joy flights two passengers can sit in the front open cockpit with the pilot in the rear.
